Colour for All

Did you know that in 2019, a survey found that 46% of British men aged 16-24 dyed their hair? And that’s before everyone was stuck at home and decided to get creative!

Surprised? We were too! That’s because there’s still such a taboo around men being open about using hair colourants. It’s one of those outdated aspects of society that we really don’t understand, but we do know that it’s also been fuelled in part by the beauty industry. We’re here to disrupt that.

If you walk into any health and beauty retailer and check what they have on the shelves, it won’t take you very long to realise that the vast majority of hair products are marketed mainly towards women. Yet we know that there’s a demand from men for hair dye, so why is this the case? And why is there a myth that “men’s hair” is somehow completely different from everyone else’s hair?

We don’t have the answer, but we do have the solution!

Oiamiga was founded with one mission in mind - to be a colour for all. That includes women, men, and everyone outside of the gender binary. We believe - in fact we know - that hair colour is for everyone.
